Have you stumbled upon an idea when putting your decor together and thought how much you would like to have a certain piece to make the ensemble all perfect? Now is your chance to make that dream a reality with the FFXIV Furnishing Design Contest!
In this contest, entries are not judged strictly on appearance, but by the heart and soul of each design. If you have an idea for a new furnishing item that expresses your hunger for housing, your desire for decoration, and your adoration for Eorzea and all the lands of FINAL FANTASY XIV, put your pen to paper and let your passion shine!
Whether it be a complementary piece to some of your favorite existing furnishings, or simply items of an aesthetic you love, we can't wait to see your brilliant creations.
However! This time, we also have our artisans of light from China and Korea participating in a similar contest. To make this a grand event, when we announce the winners, we'll showcase their entries as well, so look forward to seeing many, many, amazing furnishing designs!
Entry Requirements
You must possess an active FFXIV account at the time of submission and agree to the criteria written below. By submitting an entry, you confirm that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions below, and that you are eligible to participate.
Entry Period
From Friday, April 18, 2025, at 1:00 a.m. to Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 7:59 a.m. (PDT)
Theme
Create a furnishing item you would like for your house!
Entry Category
Any furnishings aside from housing exteriors (roofs, roof decorations, exterior walls, exterior wall decorations, windows, doors, placards, and fences).
Winner Selection
The FINAL FANTASY XIV Development and Operations teams will select 200 winning entries from all categories combined. Winner announcement is planned to be done via the Lodestone in or around October 2025.

* Item name is subject to change. Furnishing for winners is planned to be implemented.
* If an entry is deemed to be excellent, Square Enix may decide to implement it into the game in the future. In such cases, the Development team may make adjustments to the design or features of the item. Note that there is no guarantee that winning entries will be implemented into the game.
* Prize delivery is scheduled on or around January 30, 2026.
How to Enter

Please be sure to fill out all required information and attach the required image of your entry submission. Entries submitted outside of the Submission Form page will not be eligible.
Entry Requirements
- Furnishing Category – General Furnishing, Bed/Chair, Table, Tabletop, Wall-mounted, Rug, Interior Materials (Interior Wall, Flooring, Ceiling Light), and Outdoor Furnishing
- Character Name
- Home World Name
- The URL of Your Character Profile on Lodestone
(Ex: https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/character/000000/)
- Nickname
- Entry Title
- Brief Comment
* Your nickname, entry title, and comment will be publicly posted along with your entry when we announce the winners.
* Other than instances when you are using your real name as your nickname, please do not include personal information such as your name and address in your submission.
Entry Specification
- Entrant must create the image using digital graphics software or by capturing a photo of artwork Entrant has created by hand.
- 1-3 images: front design (required), side design (required), and back design (required)
- Optionally, you may provide the following information regarding your design:
- Item category name (tabletop, rug, wall-mounted, etc.)
- Material (wood, cloth, leather, etc.)
- Dyeable elements
- Character size comparisons
- Other information such as what effects the furnishing may have or colors of light it produces, etc.
- Image size must be 1920 x 1080 pixels or larger
- Image format must be in .jpg or .png format
- Image file size must be 5MB or under
* You may submit multiple Entries. However, only the latest three entries will be eligible for judging.
* You may not submit entries with links to images uploaded to online storage websites.
* Please note that you may not be considered for selection if your image resolution is too low or there are other graphical issues present in the image.
* Square Enix may also request additional designs of your entry should it be selected for implementation.
* While you may submit more than one entry during the contest period, please only submit one entry per submission.
Additional Entry Limitations
- You must not include any additional personal information in your Entry.
- Entries may not be edited after submission.
- You must refrain from posting your Entries on blogs or other social channels until Sponsor announces the results. If your Entries are found to be posted before the list of winners is announced, your Entry may be disqualified.
- Designs that have already been published are not acceptable.
- Designs similar to existing designs are not acceptable.
- The use of Artificial Intelligence software to create or generate any portion of any Entry submission is prohibited. If Sponsor determines that any Entry uses any Artificial Intelligence software, such Entry shall be disqualified at Sponsor's discretion.
